This message is concerning the cash advance you received from The Loan Shop Online.

For whatever reason, your account is listed in default of contract. Payments are not being successfully applied to your account. Currently, there are no voluntary arrangements established to clear your unpaid balance. Your negative account status has caused your file to be forwarded for my review.

This matter is highly time sensitive, I will soon be forced to make a decision regarding your cooperation and I will be making a final recommendation relating to the resolution of your account. I am encouraging you to please make your return call a priority to prevent contractual enforcement.

It will be reported to all parties involved in this matter that I did attempt to contact you at your employer, personal line, as well as email communication with no response. This will be enough information to give our company the authority to proceed with further collection action so please report your intentions today.

Due to non-payment we are proceeding with employment verification and finalization of your file to assure our interests are protected.
If you choose to work this out voluntarily please contact us immediately at 1-888-265-5074 Ext. 4367.

To obtain a copy of your contract, you will need to complete the release form and fax to 1-800-383-3309. After this document is received then your original loan contract will be released to you. This contract outlines the steps that may be taken to recover our funds. We ask that if you have any questions to please contact our office by telephone. We deeply encourage you to have the person representing you contact our office directly with any additional questions. If you are being represented, it is expected that you will not have any problem providing your attorney contact information, thanks!

Sincerely,

Speak with the branch manager, (no one else will do), explain your situation and how you have been scammed into paying more money then you owed and ask that they remove the NSF charges. What banks don't tell you is this, they are permitted to remove a certain percentage of charges on a customers account but only if you ask and there are extenuating circumstances, I think this is definitely extenuating! If that gets you nowhere, find out who the CEO is (google it), get in touch with them, send them a letter, fax it send it, call them, just whatever you can do to get the word out that you have been scammed and want a resolution, explain that the resolution you are seeking is the removal of these charges imposed by the bank. Honestly, sometimes you just have to push and push and push these big corporations, but make sure you do it in a mannerly and intelligent way.

LoanShopOnline is not licensed to loan in the US at all, to my knowledge. Contact this guy directly (wmashburn@ltsmanagement.com). He sent me a PIF letter and refunded about 50% of what I overpaid.

They know they're operating illegally. They also respond pretty quickly. I had my refund 3 days after first contact.

Just tell him, in your own words, what's you're asking for and why. Tell him his offer is unacceptable. Tell him what you want.

Here's what I sent when I received his response about "governing law BS."

Thank you for your correspondence and prompt attention to this matter. Unfortunately, the terms of your offer are not acceptable to me. Regardless of what you say, I know that (my state's) law prevails in this matter and according to (my state's) law, you are an illegal lender. I will be more than happy to sign your agreement once I've received a refund of the amount I've overpaid on this loan. Once I've received the $xxx refunded overpayment, I will sign your current agreement, or you may draft a new one that includes the stipulations of my refund. The money can be deposited to my account which you have on file.

Thank you.

If you don't get your refund, it's not the end of the world. Just make sure you get that PIF letter.
