she never recieved anything signed or stamped by a judge. she would get paperwork from these attorneys with court documantation. so she never showed up. we live in florida and i sent the cashiers check usps overnight with signature conformation. last week she got a letter from her employer stating that her wages would be garnished starting this friday. 200 dollars a week, until the sum of 3500 is paid for. she called these lawyers and made a one time deal with the payoff of 2000. they agreed and i sent the check.

I would call them and make sure they've received their funds. If so, have them fax you a paid in full/settled in full letter and then take it to the courts so they will stop the garnishment.
