Hi Meech.....Let's start with the BEST news.....You are 26 ....most of us do not wake up in many areas of our life until we pass 25-30 years old. So, stop beating yourself up ....it is not hopeless. First, get a free copy of your credit report....look through this site for the websites or maybe someone will post it. It is even worth it to go to Myfico and pay $11.95 to check ...use the code MYFICO 25. Anyway, are you working? Set a budget....come back and post about specific old debts and bank accounts and someone can help you, but we need specifics. Save money if you can....do you have family who can help? take first things first....get your credit report and see where you are at and start saving!!! You can do this!!! Read these forums and post questions.....debtor in CA
