Hi: I have a payday loan with a group called Brighton FNL. I have attempted to call them to pay it off in full. I never received an answer. I have a phone # (801) 263-7080 which when you call they answer the phone Brighton FNL and then transfer you to "Jacqueline" which is a voice mail. After you leave a message I was switched back to an attendant who told me the people in the office were all busy and that Jacqueline was the only one who could help me. So I want to know if I can stop them from taking any more debits from my account until they contact me. Loren

I have never heard of this company, I am sure that someone who has will come along soon and help you. It sounds like a shady operation if there is only one person in the office who can help you. The only way to make sure they don't take any money out of your account is to go ahead and close it and make sure the bank does not allow any more transactions to come through on it. Someone else will be along with more assistance but in the mean time look into getting that bank account closed. Perhaps this is just a tactic to keep debiting from your account.

I have trying to find information for tis company as well. I received a payday loan from them bt when they called to verify information, it was a unknown/blocked number. I looked them up on BBB and they've been in business since 2007 but when I called the number listed (801) 867-8700 a message "At the subscribers request, this phone does not accept incoming calls" and disconnects you. I also have this number 801-783-2863 which doesn't work either. Said to say but I think we've been had. The agree with the person who responded previously. Our best bet may be close our current checking account and re-open a new one which may initiate collection attempts on behalf of Brighton Financial. I'm not trying to avoid paying them, the contract however states that you must call 2 days in advance to advise of full pay off. Otherwise they'll continue to debit the finance fee ($89) for me. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.

I need to know what state you are in to determine whether they are a legal lender in your state.
You could revoke their right to debit your account per the EFTA law.[/QUOT
Thank for responding. I am in NJ.
I was just approved for a payday loan through this company. The number they gave me to schedule payments, other than just the interest fee, is 800-738-0995. Maybe you can reach someone at that number.

If you received or applied for a loan from a company called Brighton FNL, they are actually Kingston Financial. I know this because I did this, unfortunately, but discovered who they really were when I called the number that I was given to tell them if I wanted to pay in full on the due date. That number was 800.738.0894. Two weeks ago, when I started calling this number and never getting a person, the automated prompt greeted me with "Thank you for calling Brighton FNL..." in a female, British accent. After selecting one of the options, I was, again, given a greeting: "Thank you for calling Kingston Financial...". Now, however, when I call this number, the automated voice prompt is a different woman's voice (though still a British accent) and it does not make mention of Kingston Financial. If you dial 800.620.8790, you will be greeted with the British female voice that used to accompany the other 800 number that I was given. I figured I should mention all of this for those who have received a loan from Brighton FNL, since using Google to search for them will only give you two results that relate to them. The first, being that the company appears on the State of Utah's registered lenders list (they are located in Salt Lake City just like Kingston and, while they may be registered there, I know they are not registered where I reside). The second result is also a good identifier for who they are. If you search "Who is Brighton FNL", the very first link that appears is "Kingston Financial does not currently operate a public website for its customers". If you click the link, the page that appears states the same text, but replaces Kingston Financial with Brighton FNL. If I put this in the wrong place, my apologies to the moderators. :/

I have had 1 loan from this company and while it was tricky to get a hold of them to give them info to actually get the loan I found them very helpful and actually professional (scary and unexpected i know). When I called to schedule the pay off it was not problematic. The number I called was 1-800-738-0995.
I was very very wary of taking out a payday loan having been a victim of a fraudulent company in the past, so I was really cautious, and really rather surprised. Would I do it again? Doubtful but it did help me out in a really tight spot.

I have a payday loan with them also and they called my phone but my contract says to call 2-3 business days prior to loan due date if you want to pay it off. You only have to call if you want to pay it off. The number is 1-800-738-0995

I used the 1-800-738-0894 number and selected 4 (for making payment arrangements) and immediately was transfered to a person. Once my call was answered by this gentlemen with broken english and I explained I wanted to pay my bill in full, he tried to pursuade me to continue paying the $89 "processing fee" bi-weekly. After some persistence, he agreed to allow me to pay in full tomorrow. We'll see if they actually fulfill their end of the deal.:???:

Hello

call to 1800 738 0995 number 2 extesion 3016. he will help you he help me to cancel the loan, after i read all of this i canceled it right away. the guy try to extend my due date for a month but i said no and i called my bank to for them to be aware about this company.

i just apply and got the loan for $200, i had the same problem with another fake company, i had to paid 289 and they were asking and thearing me for 570. never paid anything, they are only tryin to scare you because they have ur social number, i just told them to take me to court cuz i had proof from my bank, i called my bank too and aware my bank about this company, they told me close the account so i canceled my old account and got a new one, also block my cell phone so they could not called me. they never called again after 6 months calling me back to back.

the only 2 loan companies that i have used and they are really good, their fee are not so expensive like this one and they never took any extra money from my account, and they actually after your first loan they give you the opcion to get a higher loan.

ANYONE WHO WANTS A PERSONAL LOAN I RECOMENT 100% SECURE

scam loans deleted...pm go shill for those two tribal loans elsewhere okay idiot.btw there is no legit online lender so save it.

Good Luck!! ;)
