here is the deal with the wage assignment.only the original creditor can invoke a wage assignment.a wage assignment is not transferable.i would still get the letter to your HR or payroll person first before sending it to the pdl's.

Well that's fabulous news because, if a 3rd party collection agency contacts you regarding this debt, you can ask them to send a letter of collection and then respond with a DV letter. They cannot possibly validate an illegal loan. Which PDL was this that sent your account to a CA and supposedly doesn't accept payments via the U.S. mail?
