These f-ers called my 83-year-old father this morning and got him very upset. This is a blatant violation of FDCPA, in that they know where I am and how to reach me. Disgusting!! I won't even wait to file a complaint w/the FTC -- I am doing it now!

If Redline is calling your father before 8 am, then they're violating the FDCPA laws. You have the right to sue them. You should file a complaint with FTC as soon as possible.
