That's a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They cannot threaten your job. Send a letter in writing to the company documenting the name of the rep and the date/time of the call. Inform them that they are not allowed to call you at work.

Go buy a recorder that you can hook up to your phone at Radioshack. You need to record this abuse (check your state recording laws though). This is ILLEGAL and is worth $1,000 each time they do it. Record these fraudsters then get an attorney who will gladly sue them with such great evidence.
