Alicia, it sounds like what you have are installment loans rather than payday loans. Have you called your lenders to try to work out extended payment arrangments?

I agree with Ohiogal, sounds like installment loans as opposed to payday loans. If that's true, then the payday loan laws wouldn't apply to them, just stay proactive and talk to them about your situation.

Yes but I have to write out a check to pls for remainder of loan plus all the interest everytime I go in and make a payment.
What does your contract say? Does it say it's a payday loan or
What does your contract say? Does it say it's a payday loan or an installment loan or possibly a credit services organization? It sounds like an installment loan to me. PDL laws do not apply. You'll need to pay as per your contract or try to negotiate extended payment plans with your lenders.
