Technically by law they should remove the entire report since it is not accurate and according to the FCRA it MUST be 100% accurate
You can of course call the bank and insist that they update the record and I am guessing that they will or you can attempt removal and dispute with chexsystems. If the record is not completely removed, at the very least it will be updated to show that it is paid

It took several phone calls to Chase but I finally reached someone today that helped me. She saw that I paid my account in full 4 days before they closed my account. She submitted a report to tell ChexSystems that my account is PAID. Stay tuned...
