I dont make enough money now to cover all my monthly bills ( lost 2/3 of income), I pay some and not others, BOA is saying if I dont pay $700 by Dec 31st they will charge off my account and they can see I am paying some smaller bills, They told me to stop paying everyuone else and pay them for a few months to stop the charge off

any advice?, paying them would mean not paying 6 or 7 other CC and bills

Do you have any money saved or that you can borrow from a family member? Now is a great time to ask about a settlement. I was getting similar letters and settled mine for 25%. We sold some things but I know a lot of people hAve borrowed from 401 K or a family member. They usually give you 3 months to pay it off.
Hope this helps!

yeah, they watch your credit report to see who you are paying and who you are not... i been thru this with them more times than i care to remember.... that is one of their many scare tactics to get a big chunk of money at once.. they have tried that with me via usps mail letters for months and it did not fly ! talk to sr account manager and ask about a settlement and details.. then ask what is the lowest payment you can do so that it keeps it out of charge off until you can get to a point of being able to settle.. worked for us

Well, BOA offer 25% but I have no way to get money, I come from a small working class family all with money problems. I was able to postpone my car payment 1 month to pay BOA so they hold on to it 1 more month, I have sold what I could and cut back on evrything I could to keep paying smaller bills. I have a company flying me up for a 3rd interview next week, so that is good news
