I was served papers on capitalOnes behalf basically threatening to sue well the debt is only $918. and some odd change not too bad compared to others ive read...i have paid off 3 other creditors in the past year capt one is my last outstanding the other creditors settled and my question was am i able to request settlement after ive been served with court papers..or by not contacting them within the thirty days have i agreed the amount is correct therefore having to pay said amount??
