I want to know if I can be sued for a credit card debt that it's not even showing in my credit record. A debt collector called my dad asking for my number ( I have no idea how? and why he got his number) but I contacted him yesterday and he said that he was contacting me because I was being sued for a credit card debt. they were asking me for a case # which I dont have because I have not receive anything about this matter and I started searching for information about this to see if I was being scammed because when I told him I wanted talk with the creditors to reach an agreement or payment plan to settle it out of court he told me that they didnt want to talk that they wanted to take me to court but that he can talk to them and convince them to make the agreement if I was willing to solving the issue by paying $1000. I printed out my credit report yesterday and the credit card debt is not even showing in there because it has been about 7 years since that debt and because I was in school and not working I couldnt make more payments on it. what should I do?

There are less chances that the credit card company will be able to sue you for a debt which is not even included in your credit report. There are chances that the debt is passed SOL. In such a case, they won't be able to take any legal actions against you. You should contact an attorney and check out if he can help you in this matter.
