Delaware allows the lending of payday loans. It will be a good option to contact Delaware Office of the State Bank Commissioner in order to find out whether or not your payday lenders are licensed to operate in your state. You will be liable for paying only the principal balance if you find that your payday lenders are not licensed to operate in your state. Plaingreen is illegal in Delaware. So, you're only required to pay the principal amount on this loan. I don't know about the other loans. If you're unable to make payments on the loans, then you can get help of debt relief programs.

I spoke to someone with the Delaware Banking commission (it's also known as Eastern Specialty Finance), and Check N Go is in fact legal. After calling them yesterday, they are now harrassing me. I'm working something out with a local credit union to pay that debt off and now I have 12 monthly payments of $95 paid to the credit union instead of paying $326 a month with ridiculous interest rates.
If this is how Check n Go does its business then I want out. I'm more than willing to pay my debt but I want it to be something I can afford and not so sketchy.
