Anyone with recent experience with Asset Acceptance LLC?

I received a letter today from Asset Acceptance. It read "It is our pleasure to welcome you as a new customer of Asset Acceptance LLC. Your account with the above mentioned creditor has been purchased and is now owned by Asset Acceptance LLC." And then the normal you have 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt statement. The creditor they mentioned is HFC.
I'm sending them a validation letter, certified with return receipt required. My question is has anyone had recent experience with these guys? I'm trying to figure out what to expect from them.
