Please help, I am paying on 1 garnishment from a creditor and now another has showed up from the exact same creditor and they are also from 2 different courts. The amounts do not match at all, but can they get another writ from another court (was not notified to appear) even if I am paying.

Was I the only one who actually read the OP's post. THEY are being garnished TWICE for the same thing!! OP-you need to go to the court listed on the garnishment and show them that you are being garnished twice for the same account. They can not do that. Looks like you were sued twice for the same thing, which is illegal. You have to go to the courts that issued the judgements and ask to see the case files and go from there. Yes, it would help you greatly to have a lawyer for this. BUT, the fact you were sued and garnished twice for the same thing, should mean money in YOUR pocket for that.
