Is Cash Cure licensed to operate in Idaho? They are an internet payday loan company. I borrowed $500 in April because of a medical emergency and have since paid back $1057.50. I apparently still owe them $400? I have closed my checking account and am attempting to get this all sorted out. I tried back in April to get them to take out the entire loan amount plus the $132.50 finance charge but they just took out the finance charge and have continued to do so ever since. They hae only just this month started taking out an additional $50/payday to apply towards the principal. Apparently they intend to drag this out another 4 months. What else can I do? I really can't afford to keep throwing money at them and I've already more than repaid my original loan amount. Since researching this more (which I should have done in the first place) I've found they're not even licensed in Idaho. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact Idaho Department of Finance to know whether or not Cash Cure is licensed to operate in your state. If they are illegal, then you are only required to pay the principal amount. Otherwise, you'll have to pay the principal amount along with interest rates and fees. If Cash Cure is making unauthorized withdrawal from your account, then you can request your bank branch manager to put a hard debit check on your account. You can also close the account.

You should close down your bank account so that they cannot debit any further amount from your account. If you find that they are licensed to operate in your state, then you should negotiate with them for a payment plan in order to get rid of the debts. You can even check out the option of debt consolidation in order to get rid of the debts.

If you find that the lenders are not licensed to operate in your state, then you are required to pay only the principal amount. Illegal payday lenders can???t take any legal action against you. If you find that the lenders are licensed, then it is better to repay the debts. If you are in a financial crisis and can???t payback the debts in full, then you may try to settle the debts on your own. Otherwise, you may go for payday loan debt settlement program. This program helps you to repay your debts.

sorry, but since the three above me didn't read the whole post i will advise you.first since this is an illegal loan(but you already knew that)you overpaid, waaaaay overpaid.so go to the sticky titled(dealing with illegal lenders)at the top of the payday loan help forum.it has everything you need to get this lender out of your life.go to the sticky, and do not skip steps.the first one being to close your account and open a new one.see your bank manager for this.above all else know you have again waaaay overpaid this illegal lender, and need to cut off their access to your account as they will debit forever if you allow it.
