Payday Loan Help

I live in VA and according to the law the limit is $500 for a payday loan and loans are not renewable. I have a loan with Plain Green Loans which 1) isn't licensed in my state and 2) they gave me a loan for $800. I have closed my checking account and am in the process of sending them a letter. Should I pay them back the original loan amount or only $500? I have paid them $644.80 in fees already.


I agree with what the previous posters have said. As they are not licensed to operate in your state, so you are required to pay only the principal amount.
