Hi just want to tell everybody in this forum, that there's a way out of the payday loan mess. I followed all the steps provided in this forum and Some accounts were closed and clear (because they know they are making business illegally) and some of them settled for a monthly payment and only for the principal amount. DO NOT let anybody scared you, they are just trying to fool you and take advantage of your situation. I just have a quick question:

The only payday loan company that don't want to really work with me is Cash in a Wink, The principal amount is $1.000 I paid $250.00 and I closed my account. Three due dates has passed. and they do not want to settle, they keep calling me and they are just ignoring my emails. Any suggestions with this?

I did and they are trying to fight it. I responded back to BBB with more details, because I saved all the messages they left me. All their representatives have really rough collection "techniques". One of them said, they will start a wage assignment, if I don't work with them! can they do that? I'm in the state of NJ

I completely agree about the wage assignment revoking--as since they mentioned it, I wouldn't put it past them to try something with your employer.
Since your principle was $1000, and you have already paid back $250, all you owe them is $750.
I would determine what you can REALLY afford to pay back, get an address for them and send payment to them. Do NOT pay a penny more than what you got. If they accept your money orders, then suprise, they accept payment arrangements! Good luck and keep us posted.
