I had an account open with a different collections agency and paid off my balance several months ago. Once it was all paid I received a letter saying that my account was satisfied and paid off. Now today I got another letter in the mail from this first source advantage saying that I still owe over $200 on that account. I called the number on the letter and got a recording saying that the extension I called could not be answered. What kind of company is this???

Other than sending a copy of the letter, that the then collection agency had sent to you, you can also add the copy of your credit report, if it has the right listing against this account.
