If the pdl company is not licensed in your state, then you are required to pay them only the principal amount. If you have paid them more than the principal, then ask them for the refund. I am in NY City, they are illegal here. I have been corresponding back and forth with them and that was their offer to settle which I denied. I paid them wayyy too much money to settle for $400.00. I will continue to file complaints until they offer me something better than that.
