I haven't dealt with Nationwide Credit mate. But you can get some info from this page:

If the account has been shifted to Nationwide Credit, then why don't you settle the debt with them?

I think it is best for you to start negotiating with Nationwide Credit if you are sure about this debt. I have had no chance to deal with them either but I believe that it also depends on your negotiation capabilities. So, you can try your luck at this :)

Your results are going to depend on which Amex product line the account is, and which Nationwide branch has the account. We've gotten less than 40% on some accounts, and just over 20% on others. Again, it depends on these factors, plus a few more. Good luck!
