I am not worried about the last 3 because they are out of the country and I have paid them what was owed. I am worried about FASTCASH-ADVANCE. I have not heard one word from them. I am nervous!!! I have told all I would pay back principal owed with a money order or cashier's check but everyone wants a payment via Western Union. I do not feel comfortable with this, no more personal information on the web! This past Friday I started receiving calls at work from someone with a think Indian accent stating I would be arrested if money wasn't paid, using profanity, saying very obscene things. They called my office number at least 30 times even though they were told multiple times to Cease and Desist.
I am barely sleeping, not eating, worried about police showing up at home or my place of business. I have taken the steps outlined but am concerned. Can anyone offer additional advice?

PDL's are ILLEGAL in North Carolina, regardless of what your lenders say. And debts are civil, not criminal, so stop worrying about the police showing up.
FYI...cease and desists do NOT apply to the original creditors. They only apply to third party collectors.

Payday lending is prohibited in NC, so you are required to pay them only the principal amount. Illegal lenders won???t be able to take any legal action against you. Moreover non-payment of debt is not a criminal offense. It???s a civil case. So you can never get arrested for that. If you have any complaints against the lender, then contact with the North Carolina Attorney General. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - NC Attorney General's Office 9001 Mail Service Center Raleigh NC 27699-9001
# Phone - (919) 716-6400
