I'm in California. The SOL here is 4 years.
They continued to call me after I mailed them a no contact by phone letter by CMRR.
I explained to the collector on the phone that I had sent the letter and that receipt showed that they received it and on what date. She continued to try and harass me about the debt, until I told her the call was concluded and hung up on her.

you need to check your state laws in reference to recording calls.gather your proof and go to www.naca.net there you will find a contingency lawyer and sue this bottomfeeder.they are begging to be sued, and you should accomodate them.
