If they get a judgment against you, they will be able to garnish your wages and levy your bank account.

you can check with your court clerk to see if a lawsuit was filed.either way i do want to know as soaplady does who sent that letter,but check on that first as if there is no suit then there are a couple of ways you can proceed.you need to find out through your court clerk if there is a suit before you do anything else.
