Does anyone have any information on Superior Debt Services? Or has anyone dealt with them?

Thanks,
J

I have not dealt with Superior Debt Services on a personal scale, but there are some members here who have taken their program. I have not heard them complaining against the company.

However, you need to be pro-active on your agreement signed with them. Read the contract very carefully and see if everything has been mentioned properly.

Insist them to send you the monthly statements about how your money will be applied to the creditors. It is better to do the correspondences in writing.

I too am interested in anyone who has worked with Superior Debt services. I've contacted several other places that have been downright pushy and rude. Superior seemed more professional. Any feedback would be appreciated. I don't know what's harder...being in debt or trying to find a service that you can trust.
Thanks

Gem, did the consultant call you after you registered in this website. Was he from Superior Debt Relief Services? I have heard this website having partnership with good debt consolidation companies all over the US. The counselors are very calm and professional while discussing with the consumers. I am enrolled in the program and my consultant makes the suitable arrangements with my credit companies for me. The terms and conditions of this program have been clearly put in the contract so that no problem shapes up at the end.

So far, I have not faced any problems in this program. I will also suggest you the same because of my positive experiences with my consolidation company.

After many years of being on a debt treadmill. We agreed to take action. We were consulted all of our options, CCC, BK Lawyers, debt settlement. We went with Superior Debt Services for many reasons as our settlement company. Their BBB rating was wonderful, they are going to pay for credit repair when we complete the program, we have our own rep that is always available when we call for questions, they handle all the calls from the creditors and collection agencies. Most of all we have been with them for 1 year next month and they have settled 5 out of the 9 accounts that we enrolled with them with the lowest settlement of 25% and the highest 38%... We couldnt be happier!! Only 4 accounts to go and we are debt free!! I have referred them to friends and family. It was a very scary decision but we know we made the right one. I recommend Superior Debt Services very highly!

nygirl...did you end up having to file any of these settlements with Superior Debt Services with the IRS, since you had to pay such a low settlement amount?

I am going to sign up with Superior debt solutions and was just inquiring if there were people out there using this company and if they were happy with the outcomes.

I just signed up with Superior Debt Services, a debt settlement company. I have heard great things about them and they have a satisifactory record with the BBB. My husband and I discussed it for several months before we joined up. We realize it is going to be scarey at first but we believe we made the right choice for us. We made our first payment to them at the end of March so we know that's one step further off the debt roller coaster :) They have been extremely kind and patient through this process with us. Their customer service is excellent and they do respond to your questions. I'm looking forward to working with them more.

Supie,

My husband I just signed up with them in Mid-March and we will be making our second payment to Superior Debt Services this coming Friday. They do work with you regarding a monthly payment on what you can afford and time lengths, stuff like that. They have answered all of my questions on a timely basis. I wish I could give you more info but I'm pretty new myself.

We have been with Superior Debt Services since Sept of 05 and are VERY happy with them. They have been more than helpful-if I ever have questions (which I do, a lot!) I just email my claim person and she responds very quickly and is very helpful. She advises me at every step and they really follow through with what they are going to say. I'd say go for it, they are entirely trustworthy!

Hi jaydott

Thanks for registering with us.

We have partnership with good consolidation companies operating in your area. Once we have received your contact info, the system forwards the details to the consultant in your area. The consultant pays us a membership fee for this partnership.

The consultant will discuss about the fees before the program begins. Most of our partners do not charge any upfront fees from the consumers. If anyone does, it will be told to you before you sign the contract. We also have partnership with non profit organizations whose services are voluntary for the consumers.

We will like to clarify any of your further queries. Keep in touch with our community.

Have a nice day :)

Regards
Mike

how safe is the account that is set up by SDS? has ANYONE out there had a bad experience? i am extremely overwhelmed I just don't want to be suckered and get into even more debt than I already am. avenger, have you changed your mailing address to their corporate hq as they suggest or do you just forward it to them? hey and if anyone wants to take an "in over his head" 22 year old under their wing I could really use some guidance. these forums are great but there is so much information it's hard to figure out where to look or where to start.

You will have to make the final decisions on your own. You can do some research over the internet for a company and then compare your options. Superior debt relief is a favorite in this board but you will have to sit with your consultant and understand all their terms and conditions before getting started with the program. The most important thing when you go for a settlement program is to have enough patience. The negotiations may take some time to get finalized. If SDS has dealt with your credit company in the past, they will understand their language. While some settlement companies have been complained for scamming out people, I haven't heard anything yet about SDS. They have had minor complaints in the past but I heard them to be resolved in a later period of time. Discuss all your queries with the consultant before getting started in the program.

I debated back and forth for several months before going the route of debt settlement. I realized that it was the best option for me but you have to consider what is best for you. SDS is a very professional company and I would recommend them. I did change my address to theirs because I got so tired of the phone calls. This way they can also monitor the accounts more closely. :)

We are extremly happy with Superior Debt. We received a voice mail today that they got our AMerican express card down to 20 cents on the dollar. The settlement will go through tomorrow. We were so worried about our credit score when we enrolled with them. Now it seems that I was worrying about the lawn when the house caught fire.. We do have 3 more settlements to get but I know I am in good hands.... :D

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go w/ them right now. I haven't been late on any of my payments- there are 3 credit cards & a private student loan, but the debt total is nearly $25,000. I'm definitely in over my head. I just want it paid & over with! My question is, my husband has good credit- will my going w/ Superior Debt damage his credit score? None of the debt is in his name, only mine. Also, I'm just so worried about being scammed- the whole not paying my creditors for awhile & having them call & everything- just the idea of it is really stressing me out. It's 2 am & I can't sleep (have to work in a few hours)- Uhg!!!

 I have been dealing with superior debt solutions for over a year, my account has now gone to arbitration, I have had very little help from superior and now am having to get an attorney to settle this debt. Caution should be used here, when it comes to push and shove, they have failed at what they said they could do.

SDS does not deal with payday loans. CCL, I could not agree with you more. I was with them for eight months and nothing was done on my accounts. I used to think highly of this company but no more. I have had better luck on my own in the last month but now my credit report has taken a drastic hit. I guess it's a live and learn process. I found one of my creditors tried to sue me in July and SDS told me nothing about it. I have since worked out payment arrangements with the creditor so that's fine. SDS claimed I told them about the lawsuit when I knew nothing about it. My mail was forwarded to their client services address.

Does anyone have some info on Superior Debt Services? Like there addresses or phones numbers? What is fishy here is I got an email from Superior Debt Services with a contact phone number. It is the same phone number that Hess Kennedy & Company goes by which is 954-752-1950. Hess Kennedy & Company is a big ring fraudulent so call attorneys. Do a search on google and we will see for yourself. You will see that Earl Flett of 2701 Riverside Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33065 is the owner of that phone number. Please contact me if I can ask/answer any questions or if you like to join forces to expose these frauds. My contact info is hess.kennedy.fraud at hotmail dot com. I look forward to hearing from others who were defrauded by Hess Kennedy & Company.

Mishele- You were so happy with them in the beginning and then it went down hill. Do you think its because you had your mail forwarded to them and the creditors were unable to get a hold of you? I have spoken with them to weigh out my options and I am currently trying to take care of some things on my own. I have good credit and havent been late yet. These posts are very helpful to see what the companies are really about!

Just signed up with superior debt services. Followed the instructions until a scare tactic was applied to our home voicemail. It was a lady calling as if she knew my wife and wanted her to call back because it was an emergency. Now she called back at work and they got her number and keeps calling harrasing her at work. She told them to not call and that we have already engage SDS to deal with them. They ignored and said that they do not deal with them and will keep calling until we fold. How do we stop this?

I was going to signup with SDS looking at all the positive feedback but I came to the last page and I'm not so sure anymore...
What is the latest opinion about them? Are they for real? can they really settle debts as they claim?

I hate to ask, but we've been considering signing up with Superior Debt Services, but are a bit leery as we had a bad experience with another debt service we contracted with (ended with a complaint to bbb). We have close to 40 k in debt and was wondering if that's too much for the service to work effectively for us. Any words of wisdom?

Hi, I worked for Superior Debt as the Accounting Manager for a year and a half and they are a good company. If you follow the program as they set it up, they can help you. Unlike other debt companies, they really do care about helping you. If I hadn't moved I would still be working for them. Hopes this helps.

I am also interested in working with Superior to clean up some CC debt but I am concerned that it will effect my son's student loans. Will I still be accepted next year if I am under this plan?

Superior Debt Services is the company in Colorado. They RULE!!!!

SDS West (Superior debt solutions) is based in Texas I think. They are new, and have used Superior's name to try to build their own creditability. I'm wary of them.

We have been with them on their 30 month program to settle debt in excess of $ 70,000.00 --- don't ask! The program is working great for us (so far) with no hic-ups at all (yet) --- I have to say so far and yet because we are not completely through the 30 months but by December 2009 this will all be over .... I have nothing bad to say about them at all. There was still a bit of anxiety when we signed with them, but the phone calls soon stopped, letters, bills and all --- and they have taken care of pretty-much everything.
