Expired judgment
Date: Mon, 08/20/2012 - 19:09
P.S. The company that I was sending payments to said the debt was recalled by the debtor, but the debtor hasnt been Identified, so how am I to get it dismissed/resolved, if I can't find out who has it.
Also, how am I going to get a home loan, if I cant get it dismissed/satisfied. The judgment is not on my credit report and hasn't been for years. I have A1 credit and a good job with the federal government.

My lawyer and I can't find who holds my judgment, however it expires soon (Nov 11th). So if my judgment doesn't get renewed by the expiration date, whats the likly outcome if I petition the court to satisfy the judgment based on payment already rendered? |

Expired Judgment
I do have A1 credit, the judgment was taken off my CR several years ago. That was the only thing negative on it. Also, if it expires and they can't collect, than how does that effect my credit rating? They can't 'put' anything on my CR. The company the company that had the original debt recalled it, but my lawyer cant seem to find/get a response from them or the law firm who was collecting on it.

When a mortgage company pulls a mortgage triple report for financing, they will pull up any outstanding judgments and that will affect your ability to get a mortgage. Can you not get any information from the court as to who the creditor is? Have you looked it up online???
