HI ALL!
I got a call at my office that Lakota Cash is looking to talk to my boss regarding employment verification....if PDL'S are illegal in NY - how can they call my job about garnishments/verifications?...im freaking out a bit!
please advise.
Im registered with the forum - its under jelac but im on a computer at work and didnt want it to save my sign on info.
Letters sent
the letters were sent....but i paid much more than the principal of the loan with all the finance fees...i told them that...but they said i owe them the original amt and the finance fee.
Try Again
I would just respond and restate what you have already told them. You are not negotiating, you are telling them the way it is. I would not be antagonistic about it, but definitely be firm. I am still working through it myself, and the responses I have received so far have varied.
ACH/ wage assignment revocation
Did you send this lender a ACH and wage assignment revocation letter? The sample ACH letter includes this paragraph "
At this time I am revoking authorization for ACH withdrawals and any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked."
