how do collection amount appear in credit report?

I have this posted on my credit report with this company. I have no idea what this 905.00 charge is for, or who lvnv funding llc is. It does not give me an address or number to call. Can someone please help. How did I find out that this amount is in collections for?

LVNV Funding is a collection agency. Perhaps any of your outstanding accounts has been transferred to them. Send them debt validation letter through certified mail with return receipt requested. Once they receive this letter, they have to send you itemized details of your account. Then you can clearly understand how much you owe them.
Validation should include the name of original creditor as well. So you can verify it with your creditor and inquire if they can accept payment from you.
