They don't pay the creditors BEFORE, and you pay them...they propose payment plans to the creditors, then with the payment you send them, they send to the creditors, and I think some creditors will say they won't accept the debt settlement, but eventually, after recieving a few payments, will be fine. Anyone correct me or lgall if we are wrong...
You are correct! T & C will send proposal letters to all of you
You are correct! T & C will send proposal letters to all of your creditors, even if they dont accept the amount proposed T & C will start sending them payments as soon as you make your first payment. If they cash the check then that means they have accepted the proposal. After they receive the first few they should stop harrassing you, but if they dont just have them call T & C and they will handle it as best they can.
