I have tried to contact Quickpayday by email to request my balance. I got my statement from T&C and they showed my balance with QPD as larger than when I started 3 months ago! With all the fees and interest plus the payments thru T&C, I have paid them above and beyond what my original balance was.

Anywho- the email was returned with a permanent error. Does anyone have any other contact info for them?

Thanks,
Crystal

Thanks for the number.

Surprisingly I have not heard a word from them after I went with T&C. I guess they are getting to me by raising my balance!!

I would not be sure that they are raising your balance, they have not done it to me (that I know of). They actually used to send me emails regularly but when they started having all the trouble and shut their quikpayday website down I have not heard from them again which probably isn't good but we'll see.

I did contact T&C- several of my balances were higher instead of lower. They said they would check into it and I haven't heard back from them.

iloveteaching,

When the payday lenders wanted more and T&C contacted me, I told them to pay what T&C offered only. No higher. Each company has accepted the payments offered by T&C. So far I have eliminated Sonic, United Cash Loans and working on Rio Resources. All three of these are not licensed in my state and has received more than what they are owed. I am refusing to pay back more than I borrowed.

That is also what we did. If they wanted too much more, too bad. We did have one go to court (it was a local/storefront one) and we had a payment agreement. Boy did she look stupid when the judge found out we already had an agreement and he didn't change it. He asked why it wasn't dropped when we already had an agreement and she would not even answer, I just said "I asked her to but she wouldn't drop it."

No I don't think so. Just call them and tell them that you want the payments back down to what the original proposed amounts are. Quikpayday wanted the $100 from us originally and they didn't get it. They complained at first but we haven't heard from them lately so I'm not too concerned about it. Talk to your counselor at T&C and explain it to them, they are really good to work with and very understanding.
