Well, I can tell you that they are alive and well, because they called at 8:58 last night leaving a full disclosure message on my machine.

I would not be sure that they are raising your balance, they have not done it to me (that I know of). They actually used to send me emails regularly but when they started having all the trouble and shut their quikpayday website down I have not heard from them again which probably isn't good but we'll see.

Sue-
My balance due to them was higher than when I consolidated with T&C 3 months ago on the most recent statement I received from T&C. Surely T&C knows how much I owe to each lender?

How interesting..I got an email from them offering to lower the amount I owe them by $100..and they promised not to report me to the credit bureaus.

Did you contact T &C to see why the balance was higher? Maybe they are trying to add on late fees or something.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, if these payments through T&C are dragged out for months, what wouldn't these people do to start adding on more fees so you're indebted to them the rest of your life.

I know. I am glad to have found T&C, but they have agreed to some high payments to my creditors. I am paying payday select 84 dollars per month and quickpayday 100 dollars per month. I pay 295 every two weeks to T&C. If my balances are going to continue to go up, what's the point?

iloveteaching,
When the payday lenders wanted more and T&C contacted me, I told them to pay what T&C offered only. No higher. Each company has accepted the payments offered by T&C. So far I have eliminated Sonic, United Cash Loans and working on Rio Resources. All three of these are not licensed in my state and has received more than what they are owed. I am refusing to pay back more than I borrowed.

Tammy,
So should I contact T&C and tell them that I will only pay what they proposed? Because to tell you the truth, 295 per paycheck (plus the western union fees) is hurting me because I am trying to get caught up on so many other bills (like house payments and utilities).
That is what I done. I told T&C to only pay what they proposed
That is what I done. I told T&C to only pay what they proposed to them. I look at it this way, if they would go to court, which they won't, the judge will see that payments are being made and throw it out.
That is also what we did. If they wanted too much more, too bad
That is also what we did. If they wanted too much more, too bad. We did have one go to court (it was a local/storefront one) and we had a payment agreement. Boy did she look stupid when the judge found out we already had an agreement and he didn't change it. He asked why it wasn't dropped when we already had an agreement and she would not even answer, I just said "I asked her to but she wouldn't drop it."

Cool!
Tell me this, I have already sent one payment in and signed the T&C contract. Do you think it will be a hassle to get the payments back down to the original proposed amounts?
No I don't think so. Just call them and tell them that you want
No I don't think so. Just call them and tell them that you want the payments back down to what the original proposed amounts are. Quikpayday wanted the $100 from us originally and they didn't get it. They complained at first but we haven't heard from them lately so I'm not too concerned about it. Talk to your counselor at T&C and explain it to them, they are really good to work with and very understanding.
