And when I reported them to the BBB they came back it me like I had done something wrong. They even went as far as to lie and say that they had talked to me on numerous occasions about the situation.

Where is this signup screen? And what am I signing up for? I would love to be able to help out. I might have a little bit of a head strong way of dealing with the people, but that makes them think twice about dealing with me. LOL.
I'd love to help, let me know what I can do?

This is stomach turning...
COMPANY'S RESPONSE:
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.
On January 23, 2006, Mr. *** applied for a Payday loan.
During the
enrollment process, Mr. ** was provided information in regard
to a 30-day
free trial within USA Benefits Credit Builder Elite. Mr. **
opted to
receive this 30-day free trial. The details of the offer as well
as
cancellation information were listed within the enrollment site.
Upon our receipt of verification of completion, an email
confirmation was
sent from USA Benefits to the same email address that Mr. **&
listed
within this complaint. Within this confirmation, Mr. (*&^ was
again
presented with the information on activation, cancellation as
well as our
phone number for any additional questions regarding the offer. I
have
listed the information provided to Mr. &&^% in regard to the
30-day access

He was advised at least twice that if he did not contact USA
Benefits to
cancel his checking account would be debited. I am unsure of how
Mr. **&
can be upset with USA Benefits if he failed to read this
information
thoroughly.
Mr. &&^% has never contacted our office to inquire on this
account.
Upon receipt of this complaint, as a gesture of good faith, I
issued a full
refund in the amount of $19.95. Please ask Mr. ** to allow
three
business days for this refund to post to his checking account.
Thus, all
monies due to Mr. ** from USA Benefits have been refunded.
Upon reviewing this information, please do not hesitate to
contact me if I
may be of further assistance. I can be reached at (724)

It's a great thing to say when your company has over 400 complaints against them! Just act like it must have been something I DID!! Until they stole money from my bank account I had never heard of them before, but yet, we talked 2x about the "service" I "purchased" from them.
Sure I did, and that is why they have 400 complaints against them. Don't know if you have ever filed a complaint with the BBB, but it is not exactly easy. Lots of online forms to fill out and they require alot of information from you. They also independently validate all complaints made. So at least 400 other individuals took the time to file an official complaint, and the BBB investigated and found USA Credit to be at fault.
Be careful, once these companies get ahold of your checking account, you are screwed.
Of course one of the things that really burns scammers like USA Credit and the PDL companies is when you shut off your checking account, in effect taking all control away from them.
Are you also bringing this to the attention of the Attorney Gene

I got scammed too
I recently noticed money withdraw from my bank account from USA. The 1st month I thought it was something from my husbands job (which is ironically named U.S.A. so I didn't really think much of it. Till this month when it happened again, and caused my account to be over drawn.I just found this out a few days ago, so I need to contact these people to get 2 months refunded as well as my $35 for being over drawn. Jerks! I cannot believe these people put these "adds" at the bottom of these applications for pay day advances. Who is going to read to the bottom?? You fill the app out, you want an answer to whether you get the cash. Hmm...Apply for cash so these scammers can take it?? SOMETHING has to be done about this crap. But anyways, any suggestions on how to get my money refunded??

Same thing happened to me when applying for a pdl online. The next day a company called Platnum Benefits took $49.99 out of my account. I immediately called the number on my acct. I was VERY LUCKY and got an honest employee. He asked if I applied for a pdl online, I said yes, and he said he gets that complaint all day long. Within 48 hrs. I had my $49.99 back in my acct. I was lucky.
