Ok, I sent my letter last week, and today I got an email from Cash Transfer Centers. What should I do now?

They are based out of Vancouver, B.C. and are under investigation in Canada. They have ceased all Canadian operations for PDL in Canada.

Call 604-588-2260. This is E-Care contact Centers (owner). Type in extension 6106. Ask for the person in charge of collections for them.

They are also known as National Capital Collections.

Isn't this the sister company of Sonicpayday??? If so they don't want to hear anything about a partial payment. I just hung up on the sonicpayday rep about an hour ago. I have spoken to them and they say they don't take partial payments, and that they won't speak to my debt consolidation company, but they will apply any partial payment they receive to my outstanding balance.

Once they receive a partial payment and put it towards the outstanding balance, they are effectively agreeing to partial payments. Let your debt consolidation company know that they are to send these payments.

There are the sister company of Sonic. They are owned by E-Care Contact Centers. They have to abide by the statutes and law of both B.C. and Canada. I was in the exact position you are and I started to send partial payments, paid off the PDL. They didn't refuse the payments which means legally here in Canada they accepted partial payments.

Come on dream, your fear will energize them and you will lose the game. Be strong, your rights are your weapon. They cannot bring charges like check fraud because post dated checks are not considered as bad checks. And non-payment of your debt is not a criminal offense that they will come to see you with police, right?

Go on with negotiation; let them know that you are very much aware of your rights. Offer them what you lawfully owe and make it paid in full.

That's right! And these people are a bunch of lying 'tards! Not only are they imagining things when they tell you that you're going to jail, they're also painting themselves into a corner by breaking fdcpa laws right under your nose, and giving you valid proof of it with these e-mails. Now, print out those e-mails and mail them to the Attorney General, then make arrangements with the original creditor, and tell the collector to pound sand.
