AFTER YOU DISPUTE
Hi Milton,
Welcome to the forums.
According to the information you gave us, your account has, already been removed by the credit bureaus. Hence, no collection agency can put it back on your credit report again. If such an incident does occur, then please convey the information to the collection agency concerned, that your account has already been struck off from the credit report by the credit bureaus.
Hope this information will help you.
Please do come back into the community with further queries.

Hi Milton,
Welcome to the debt consolidation care forums. As per your post, a collection agency cannot put back an account which has been already removed by the credit bureaus.
However, according to the new credit laws, the credit bureaus are required to investigate and resolve the disputes within 30 days. In that case, they will temporarily remove the negative information until it is verified as true. Once it is stated to be true, it will be put back in the credit report. By law, they have to notify this in writing.

Hi Milton
Welcome back. Since this account is removed from the credit report, the collection agency cannot put it back in your credit report. Please send them a letter asking for the verification of this account.
Please check this thread for an elaborate idea of the debt verification letter to the collection agency.

An account can be re-added to the credit report, but the credit reporting agency is obligated to give you 5 business day notice of reinsertion.
If you didn't receive notice, then all you have to do is write a letter to the credit reporting agency pointing out the fact of the matter that they didn't notify you of reinsertion, and that you now want this item removed for good.

Yes, they must inform you if they plan to reinsert this entry in your report. Since they removed it, they cannot put the disputed item back in your file unless the information provider verifies its accuracy and completeness, and the Credit Reporting Agency gives you a written notice that includes the name, address, and phone number of the provider.
If this investigation does not resolve your dispute, then ask the credit reporting agency to include your statement of the dispute in your file and in future reports.
Also, for a fee, you can also have the credit reporting agency send your statement to anyone who received a copy of your old report in the past.
They cannot reinsert that account, if they reinsert the bureaus
They cannot reinsert that account, if they reinsert the bureaus have five business days to notify you in wiritng if they dont, then they are in violation of FCRA. You can sue them.
