...after the initial contact period with CA (30 days) has passed?
Thanks for your help!

Calvin, what did they say you during the initial contact? Did they call you or send letters. Also tell us which company you are dealing with.

It is suggested to request for debt validation within 30 days of initial contact with the CA. But that does not mean you have to pay a debt that is not years or extra costs charged illegally. Definitely there are ways to come out of the situation. Share more of your problem with the community.

Hi Stella, the CA is Financial Recovery Services and they sent a letter, it was sent about 2 months ago. I was kinda freak out when I read another post (here or somewhere) saying that this person's account was with a CA for 2 YEARS (yes, two years!) before the SOL expired and they brought a lawsuit! What happened was that after the inital letter/contact, this CA didn't even bother to make any more contact with this poor guy and let it sit there for 2 years and now, he faces a lawsuit! What a basta rd! Anyway, I don't want this happen to me!

I've just recieved a civil suite on some medical bills. The paper says contact ARB with the phone number 1-800-229-2574. This woman wouldn't give any information out about the medical bills. I have got an address for you all of po box 6768 Reading Pa. If this is true why don't the BBB have you listed.
