I would like more feedback about this company as Ijust called them and it sounds almost to good to be true the amount of money I will save just in letting them handle all the PDL's and credit card debt, I will save a great deal of money a month this way and they say I would be in the program for 41 months

So I would like imput

Ok so I am going to the bank today to open a new account I cant close the old one till my direct deposits hit tommorrow and then I will close it so hopefully by doing that tomoroow the debits that the PDL's were going to try to take tommorrow would pay for the Service with T & C , So I hope if I close the account that the bank will deny those debits
Wish me luck This is actually making me feel so much better about things!

Can someone pm me the information on T&C? I've heard a great deal of good feedback from them. Perhaps I'll try them out. The first batch of my pdl's are almost paid off thru my current debt solution company. (however, I do think they just paid the full amount instead of negotiating a lower amount.. but haven't fully reviewed the statesments that they have sent me yet).

Went to the bank today and I will close the old accoutn tommorrow after my direct deposit hits and then I will transfer that to the new account ,
In the meantime I am going to use T & C and I will pay them tommorrow the $155 to start this thing
Will they then contact the PDL's or will I start with the phone calls?

There might be one that would hit tommorrow night but I will close the account in the morning, And it will be officially closed at Midnight,
My fear is that when I open a new account is that they will be able to try to debit that account, Legally I wouldnt think they could do this but we all know what scams they are,

I keep hearing alot about T&C, when I signed up on this website I received a phone call from a place called Consumer Credit Counesling of America. Has anybody been dealing with this company? I have 5 PDL's I'm going to be signing up with them and they are setting it up to have them paid off in 7 months.
Is this site set up with different credit agencys?

I have been with T & C for a couple of months now and so far I have no problems, except that I continue to get calls from 2 of my credit card companies. They have both accepted payments from T & C but continue to call. I am hoping after this month they will be satisfied that the payments are going to be on time. I also requested a monthly statement from T & C and have yet to receive one, but my weekly payments changed about 5 times because I included 4 pdl's on my initial agreement that I ended up settling with. So I hope now that my payment has been the same amount for 3 weeks that I'll get my statement soon.

I check my account pretty regularly online and the payments are shown on there. I intially included all my pdls and then began on my own, to send letters and negotiate settlements. 1-500fastcash contacted me in regards to a settlement after I sent the letter, I agreed to their terms because it was the right thing to do. 2 of my pdls' completely wrote off my debt and marked it paid in full. so to answer your question, I became my own respresentative on a couple of my accts. and I figured better to pay now than to spread it over 4 years.

Honestly my experience with t&c was soso. They are very friendly...and for the most part helpful. But you really have to stay on them. I would call in multiple times and get different information from each representative. Once i called in and a rep was very nasty with me which i didnt really appreciate. One rep told me my letters were sent out and the other told me they werent mailed out. Which was kind of aggrivating. Then some of my creditors called and said they werent even contacted by t&c. Which was even more aggrivating because t&c told me they had contacted the creditor. I dont know which company was telling the truth but i just set up arrangments with them just in case. They are a good company but be very dilligent in finding out whats going on with your acct. So far only 2 of my 10 creditors have agreed to the plan and i paid off 2 others on my own and i am working on paying off 3 others. Which leaves me with 5 in the plan. Im not trying to bash the company i am just trying to give a balanced view point.

I spoke with T & C yesterday and will most likely be signing up with them the first week in July (I am only now beginning to fall behind in payments, and every penny I can scrape together this month has to go to getting my rent caught up so I don't get evicted. I am two months behind and July's rent is almost due, so that's three months I have to pay by July 1st. By not paying my credit cards bills for the last two weeks and a personal loan from my sister I as just going to squeak by.)

Anyway, after speaking with several settlement companies I decided that was not the right choice for me, mostly because of my fear of collection calls at work and the probable longlasting drastic damage to my credit report.

Of the consolidation companies I consulted with, T & C offered me the best terms by far. Greenpath wanted me to pay $530 a month plus a $50 monthly fee for 49 months. On my current CC debt of $19,295 I would have ended up paying $28,420 by the time the program was done! Plus with my current minimum CC payments of $800 a month, a savings of $220 a month is not enough to prevent me from falling behind in the rent again.

T & C offered payments of $400 a month for 50 months, which means I would only pay $20,000 on my debt of $19,295 by the end of the program. Now this is a substantial savings, and with payments of $400 a month I can easily afford to pay my rent.

I do have a few questions though. The other consolidation companies told me that my accounts would be closed, and that I would continue to get monthly statements which I was to copy and fax to them.

T & C told me that under their program my accounts would remain open. I don't see how this could be.

Also, some of the members here say they still get monthly statements from their creditors, while others get none at all. That confuses me.

Sorry for the long post, my question for members who are with T & C is were your accounts closed or do they still remain open. Also if anyone has an idea why some get statements and some do not, I'd be glad to hear about it.

In spite of Guest's post above which does give me pause, I'm still most likely going to use T & C.
I've done loads of research and I'm not going to find a better deal anywhere - as long as their program works as promised.

I'm new to this forum and interested in T&C. Please tell me how to contact them? I have 6 pdl's and about to go crazy! Not to mention 2 credit cards that keep calling.

Tell us something more about your situation, crystal. We can offer you some helpful advice and ways to handle your debt problems. To begin with, talk with your lenders and credit card companies and show your intentions of paying the debts. Offer them your payment plans and advance some money if possible. They will appreciate to work with you if you are keen to make the payments. If your lenders accept the proposal, most of the problems will get solved.

Didn't realize that I would be asking such privilaged information. I'm just like all of you and in need of help here. Mostly with pdl's and I don't have lots of time to hang around a forum for 5000 points and ask for the same advice over and over. I guess I'll seek advice elsewhere. Sorry and thanks anyway.

You didn't read the mentioned thread completely. The 5000 points was reduced to 1500 points which is easily achievable within a week or even lesser time. Not to mention, you stay in the forum and get to learn so many things that will be helpful in the future. Your stay is entirely upon your wishes and we can't force you for it. Have a great day.
