Does anyone have an email address for United Cash Loan? The one that came on an email from them keeps coming back as nondeliverable and I wanted an accounting from them since the $200 loan was taken in January 2006. They have taken money every two weeks until I let the bank close my account. They even sent throu a check that they had created. Any help I would appreciate. Lnita

Lanita-

Do you know the physical address of the company? The BBB's website has two separate addresses listed for United Cash Loans, and I've also read that they are linked to Rio Resources. The reason I'm asking is that it might be in your best interest to send them an actual physical letter, certified return receipt, or send them and letter via fax for quicker response.

I do not have an address. It seems to be very hidden. When I tried to pull it on the web, there is all different web sites but it has you applying for a loan and I don't need that. Maybe I will fax to both of the locations. I don't think legally you can create a check and try to submit it thru an account, but the bank was no help in stopping withdraws. They informed me they could not close an account until it was zero so I asked for the withdraws to be stopped and they informed me they could not. They have since closed the account and turned it over to collections because between non sufficient charges and returned item charges it was $2,100 overdrawn. Ambassador was trying to debit 10-15 charges at a time even though that loan for $300 was taken out in September, 2005 and should have well been paid off but Albert from Nationwide refuses to talk to me - it is taking to much of his time

There are many threads on United Cash loans in this forum. Some have found them easier to deal with while others have had bitter experiences. Review your loan account properly and see the charges added towards the principal amount. It must be within the permissible interest rates. United Cash loan has been putting excessive charges on many consumer accounts. You can possibly claim for a refund from the company. Check out the threads below and see how you can deal with them.
