Wondering if I have paid and paid Finance charges through the nose to these PDL's and I have them listed with T & C and are contacted to see if they will accept my payment through T & C what is to keep them from saying that I still owe 1000 on a 600 loan or something along those lines? Did I put that right?

I have this fear that what I listed with T & C is what I feel that I owe them which is the balnce that I borrowed NO more fees! But afraid of what they will actually say I owe them

Thanks All

If the loan company says you have not paid the full amount, it should be given to you in writing. They must prove that the amount paid by you has piled towards the interests only and not towards the principal amount. I think your consolidation company can also place the same request to your lenders and get the latest statement.

But my question I guess would be suppose the loan for example one of mine is 200 I have paid 180 toward finance charges and they are not licensed to loan here will they say I owe the whole 200 plus more fees?
I have sent all my pdls letters certified last week about the laws here so we shall see what they say about that too Wish me luck with them

You will owe $200 for sure because this is the principal amount. Now, as per your state laws, there must be legal interest charges and fees beyond which the lenders cannot charge. Let's say, it sums up to $75 (including the roll overs and extensions if any). Now, you need to review how much you have paid towards the account. Anything paid beyond $275 needs to be refunded by the company. If they ask you for an amount that you owe, it must be in writing and you need to verify it.
