I am going thru the same nonsense with this company. I just close my account because theyt were deducting $80 every pay period for a loan 4 $200. So the toll free # is 1-877-564-7738

Have you disputed the debits with the help of your bank with Route 66 Funding? Ask your bank to verify the debits. If Route 66 Funding is unable to verify the debits, the money needs to be reverted back to your account. Many people here are having the same problems with Route 66 Funding. Read this discussion and arm yourself with the necessary knowledge required for dealing with them.

I am also having this problem. They deducted too much from my account. They have already dedudted the amount from the account to close it and now this payday, they have deducted $200!

cheryl, inform your bank about the debits done by Route 66 Funding. They need to have your authorization in writing before debiting from your account. Ask your bank to dispute with the company. If the company fails to verify the items, the amount must be reverted back to your account. If they don't, this will be an illegal activity by the company and you can take legal actions against them with the help of your attorney.

I am having trouble with them as well. I'm not having debit issues however I requested a payday loan and they approved it 3 business days ago and I have yet to get any money. I call but I can barely understand the english, no supervisor is ever available and after reading all of the concerns I found here I am concerned that something is getting ready to happen. Does anyone have any advise?

I got a loan from them and I called and asked that they take it out my very first pay date. They tried to persuade me to keep it longer. And they don't use paper documents, they make you say your name about 8 times for verification. No one speaks English very well. Are they going to try and pull more than they should? What should I do at this point? Block the debit?

Go ahead and block the debit by Route 66 Funding. If you don't talk with your bank now, they will take all your valuable money and leave you empty hand. These days, Route 66 Funding is very much in focus because of their illegal activities. You have to be careful for a while.

I took a 200.00 laon from Route 66 funding in May. I have had $79.00 deducted from my account every 2 weeks since then, even though i followed the instructions and faxed them a request to completely pay off the 200.00 loan. I finally closed my account about 2 weeks ago. So far i haven't heard from them. All i can do is pray that they are gathering some legal suit against me, or contacting my employer, or ruining my credit. I cannot find a phone number and i never signed any document with them so that i can have anything in paper. They contacted me by phone and had me answer about 10 questions confirming my name and saying "i agree". I am wondering if at this point i should contact a lawyer. Does anyone know whom i can file a complaint with. I am not even sure they are located in the US.
To everyone out there....stay away from them. There are very credible, reliable, and pleasant to work with payday loaning companies and i recommened PaydayOK.com. They are wonderful and even reversed one of my 30.00 return check fees because I called them and they said i was in good standing!!
