I applied for a $200 loan in May and so far I have paid $316 in finance fees. This company is still debiting my account. On yesterday my account was debited for $158. This company debits my account every 2 weeks and they charge $79 each time to renew the loan. I have no money to pay them back and my bank account is in the negative. I feel I have paid back the loan in finance fees. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Have you thought about closing your checking account? Route 66 Funding is having many complaints these days. You have to be cautious before they take out everything from your account. Ask your bank to dispute the debits with the company and get everything sorted out. The excess money must be reverted back to your account.

Yes, I can tell you what to do with these people!!!! Close your account IMMEDIATELY or inform your bank to stop payment from Route 66 Funding! These people are a pain in the $&#@, but I'm going to drive them crazy before they drive me crazy!!! First of all they do not show up on your credit report..........that tells me right away that they are not a legitimate company. Secondly, they kept going into my account also, that's when I decided to close my account!! They prefer to do that instead of allowing you to mail them a payment, but I found their mailing address on the internet. They also keep calling my job & each time I get a new person they give me a new amount. I told them them I will pay them $407.00 from a loan that I borrowed from them & that's it!!!!! They can add as many service charges or fees that they want, but that's all they are getting from me and I will NEVER deal with them gain!!!!! Be sure to have your bank stop payment from these people TODAY!!! That way, they can stop going into your account & you can pay your bank the negative balance that Rt 66 has left you with. After that, close that account & open a new one with an new account # and do not deal with any pay day loan company again............they are ALL rip offs!!!

I also am having trouble with this Company...So far I have paid them $195 interest on a $200 loan..At first I was getting emails from them reminding me of payment due then they stopped doing that and just started debiting my checking account every two weeks...It is really putting me in a bad situation being a single mom with only one source of income..These people should not be allowed to get by with this..

Zygon, would you join the forum? I ask because you have knowledge that most of us do not. You're on the inside. You are in a unique position; much like Queen Ester in the Bible. We realize that everybody who works for a pdl company are not scum of the earth, you have proven that. Thank you! If you could find a few others in your profession and start a resistance. I sure others in this forum would help in any way they can. Good Luck!
