Things just keeping worse with these CA. All of a sudden they seem to be all caling at the same time. Now i am receiving calls from allied interstate. I've received two in the last day. Its a recorded message. It doesn't even say who they are looking for. I've read the horror stories about this CA and don't look forward to dealing with them.

The worst collection agencies are famous for some of their illegal practices. They may take the matter to the court and try to prove that you are ignoring the phone calls and avoiding your responsibility to pay the debt (though it may not be yours). Since the judge didn't get any response from you, he will feel that the CA is right and you can be penalized on false grounds.

Try to cover your basis and deal with AI after knowing the laws in the fdcpa. They must not violate the laws mentioned in the FTC. This link helps a lot of consumers in knowing their legal rights.

allied interstate is very famous for their rude collections. They will call people nowhere related with the files they have. Most of the time, they get disputed account information and end up calling wrong person. This might have been the case with you if you are sure not having any debt in collections. You will come to know a lot about Allied Interstate and their bad collection practices in the link below.

I got a copy of my credit report. Allied is reporting a closed checking account of mine. It states the balance is -$2,000! WTF!! I have no ided what this is. When I close dthis account it was overdrawn $150 not $2,000. I am going to murder these people!!

Allied did it once again. Unfortunately, it was you this time. Mark this item and dispute it with the credit bureau as well as AI. The details must come out correctly or this entry must be removed from your file. AI has tarnished credit of many more people and all with disputed information. These buggers are now looking for someone else now. They are always in the hunt.

ALLIED INTERSTATE...

They are the legal dept for palisades collections in pa & nj. Do call and find out as much info and holla back and tell me what they said.
