Does debt consalidation hurt the me with the creditors that I am in good standing with. And do I have to put the ones that I am not behind in with the one's that I am? And can I if I want to?

Hi Omar

Welcome to the forums. Debts are consolidated only of those accounts which you wish to include in the program. As a result, your accounts which are in bad shape can be included in the debt consolidation program to improve your credit file.

Those accounts which are in nice standing with the creditors do not need to be included in the debt consolidation program. The creditors of those accounts will not come to know your involvement in the debt consolidation program unless you inform them.

You can consolidate the multiple debts into one single loan amount which will be paid in easier installments and at lower rate of interest. Additionally, your debt will take a downward turn as all the financial charges and/or the late fees will be removed from it.
