I borrowed from several payday loan company as a last result to take care of much need expenses for my children. I'm a single mom and I had nowhere else to turn. I received a call from these low lifes today. This one man actually told me that he was having a bad day and he was going to take it out on me. He has threatened to issue two warrants for my arrest stating that I've committed two felonies. What action should I take?

Lafaye - You didn't mention the name of the collection company. It sounds that you got a call from Ellis Crosby.

If so, you should go through the various posts about Ellis Crosby in this forum. You will learn that these people have been involved in all sorts of illegal activities while recovering debt from the consumers.

Please don't get tensed about this call. Ask them to validate the debt. It gives you the legal right to know the details of your complete debt before you start making payment.

If they are unable to validate it, you have your legal rights to take legal action against them.
