Why are we here?

That is a good point Rhonda!Let me explain why I am here I have been through alot of things good bad and think and thin I thought I really found a place where people cared.Like you said a support group I am not negative to any one or their forums but it seems like I don't fit in around here.I am also here to talk about debt and things in that nature!Excuse me to most if my punctuation is not used sometimes or my capitilization I am here to get advice and give it.Negativaty is not the key here and why most find that amusing it does hurt other people's feelings!I have no motive or at least not try to protray one, but that really gets to me when someone is picking at me!I have been through alot and mostly all of us has from debt, to crisis ,to struggles, we all learn from our mistakes and thats why most of us are here to express what we have been through!And not to criticize one another but to give a helping hand thats really all I have to say. And to tell you,the community I have no motive!I am just trying to fit in

Ch, The only thing that I can say is to keep posting.Keep being a part of the community. You will find through out the posting that not everyone is going to agree with you and some may even critique you. Use that as a way to become stronger.

I have learned through experience that you have to be confident in you and the rest will follow. As long as you hold your head high, no one can bring you down!

ch, I feel very badly that you took my suggestion as being mean. That was never my intent. Once again, I apologize. Having said that, I do find your posts alot easier to read since you began using some punctuation and capitalization.

Thank you for your concern and i'm not just saying you ! I took your advice and did what you asked but the forum that I wrote is really not about you I am addressing to those who really think I have a motive(they know who they are)and I beleive we all should give advice but like I said before not in a negative way you know?Because too much of us have been through alot and not to mention some of us are still at the bottom trying to get back at the top!I feel if we all work together to help each other then it will be better for the community.And you did help me so please don't think I addressed this to you i'm sorry if I made it seem like you but it is really not!

And please those who have negative thoughts and animosity agaisnt others should try to work the differences out like me and ttt she told me she couldn't really read or understand what I said !But to others there is no motive for anyone being here we are here for our own reasons not to hurt each others feelings!This has been a positive community we try to encourage others and inspire them not hurt each others feelings keep in mind people have feelings it when ttt said something I took her advice that I needed to improve in my capitilization and punctuation but others are rude so please iI do have feelings!

Really nice topic Rhonda, I am here because I love to have fun with the community. I feel good when I offer some helpful suggestion to someone in need.

I hope you're not mad at me for requesting better punctuation. You seem to have been offended (I guess reasonably so...) --but this was not my goal.

I, like you, would like to keep this community friendly, clean, professional, and to-the-point. I think that everyone can agree to that. I understand that some people speak differently (or have different punctuation habits). What I was trying to say is that since the only form of communication on this forum is via text (typing), there should be a bit more effort put into spelling and grammar for the beneift of others.

If you're upset with me (or think that I am upset with you) I apologize and hope there are no hard feelings.

Ch, no one here is really rude, with the exception of the ones who blantantly bash the whole boards...(see other threads). It IS hard to read your posts sometimes, although they are highly informative in some cases. We'd love to read them, but if you could use punctuation and capitals, it would be a bit easier.

And if soemone speaks a foreign language, hey, I know French and Italian fluently 8)

I'll vouch for that, crypto---a friendly, professional, direct forum.

Reading these posts, I feel that it is a perfect bliss joining our hands together and building up this strong community. We definitely want to add many more valuable people in this group so that we are strong enough to face any kind of situations in the future.

Let us provide the best services that can be offered to our visitors so that they get encouraged and somewhat desperate to join this group. I wrote few days back a phrase like this:

United we stand..Divided we fall

We feel stronger today just because we have been with each other in all the times needed. And we should continue it with the same passionate feeling.

I enjoyed reading everyone's responses. It feels great to know that we all belong to a community that truly cares. It is also great coming on here every night and "seeing" the same familiar voices :)!

I think as long as we continue to work together we can grow as a whole.

My friends say that they meet each other only once in a week, most probably Sunday. And they enjoy being together. I respond to them that I meet my friends' everyday and that too from all over the United States. Imagine how wonderful it is to be in touch with each one of us.

It is an absolute wonderful feeling!:)

Okay I have been working on my capitilization and punctuation to please!But the only thing I am saying is I have no ''motive'' of being here I am here because I enjoy reading and learning something new everyday and helping others help them selves but when others are directing something in a negative way that really hurts we should all be postive about how we feel if someone is not doing right!Not addressing as a ''motive'' because I feel no one has a motive we are all here for the same reason and we are all in some kind of debt!We teach others also learn from others as well!

And I am blessed that I have made it this far and that I have people who care!Like this support group!

It is great to hear that you are taking the advice of the other community members. We all know that advice means well, but sometimes it is how it is put into words that can hurt someone.

I came here to get advice,and I got it.Very good advice I might add.Since that time I come here often to see if I can help anyone or just give my support.I know I have a place to go now when I have questions about my debt problems, and the great thing about this forum is you get answers and helpful advice.Everyone keep posting and keep up the good work.

Well I'm glad that was cleared up.

As a moderator, one of the things I look out for is people abusing this "financially-generous" board/service. If someone makes posts just to collect some money that is wrong in my eyes.

But - I think we've clarified that non of us are doing that, so all is well in my eyes. :D

Yes and if someone is here making spam mail we should all be aware!Me myself I am here for a reason to help and be helped.I feel that we all have concerns about debt and are all here for the same thing and cryptowizard,I think people have other concerns than just trying to collect money we are all here for some kind of reason even you!I understand what you are saying about people just trying to collect money well I am not one of those people I am far from that I am here to be helped and give help cause all of us has been through debt so we lend a helping hand to show the community what we are here for and I am with you on that one nobody should be here just to collect money!Maybe you have been through something that I haven't been through and maybe I have been through something that you havent been through!Thats why we are here to teach each other, and to learn from ones mistakes, and to help each other with answers.If we have questions about something give each other the answers!But that is really all I have to say keep doing your job!And continue smiling!

I've learned that collection agencies don't bother you...if you don't answer the phone :wink:

I only have a cell phone and I just don't answer 1800 #'s and unknowns. I figure that anyone trying to get a hold of me will realize that I am in the consolidation program any day now.

After taking the consolidation programs, you will be able to keep yourself away from the collection calls. In case, if you speak with them, give your consultant's info.

Yeah discover card called me at work, but I gave them permission in the past to call me at work. They were always really pleasant. So I spoke with them and gave them my consolidation info and they thanked me and I haven't heard from them since.
