Hi Erin

Welcome to the forums. Contact your bank and inform them about your request. Also, send your card diagonally cut into four pieces and a letter about closing the account.

You need to send the credit card along with the letter so that your request is given prior attention.

Hi jaka3

Welcome to the forums. You might have to pay the debt that has already occurred on your credit report and then ask for the cancellation of the account.

Request the company to provide you the necessary details of the said debt so that you can pay it off. Once the payment is complete, you can request for a closure of the account.

Make sure that after you have paid the debt, your accounts should be updated with the credit bureaus. This will maintain your credit history in a positive way.

Roxette

Hi Bill

wfnnb is a company that has extended credit to you in the past. They are trying to collect the debt from you and that is the reason they are appearing in your credit report.

Please contact the company at 1-800-695-5316 / 1-800-224-3114 and try to organize a payment plan with them. This will probably help you in cleaning your credit file.

Roxette,
Actually I don't owe wfnnb anything. The KGSZ stands for 'King Size'. Just figured that out. When I bought things from King Size last year I used my Discover card and they opened a King Size credit card account for me without my approval. I have destroyed their credit card and will call them to close out the account.
Thanks for your response.

I have had rude customer service people from WFNNB/Brylane calling me at my unlisted private number requesting payment for an account that I have never had with them. I have verified with 2 of their reps my address & birthdate (which are not the ones on the account) and I have been told that since I have proved that I am not on this account it would be taken care of. Well anyway it showed up on my credit report - I have contacted Experian and they have investigated & deleted this from my account. Now WFNNB/Brylane has called me yet again requesting rudely payment. They will not let me know how they have gotten my phone number unless I agree that this is my account nor give me any information about this account. Last night, the investigator refused to give me a phone number or address so that I could verify who she was, unless I gave her my social security number. What am I to do? I have put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Hi TC

Welcome to the forums.

It has been proven that you do not hold any account with wfnnb and Experian has removed the inaccurate negative information from your credit report.

WFNN/Brylane should know about the latest happening and should not ask for any unidentified payment from you. Please report the mischievous activities of the customer care cell to the management of that company and also submit a copy of it to the attorney general office in your state.

I hope that the matter will soon be taken care of with necessary actions.

Regards
Roxette

Thank you for your helpful advice. How would I get the correct address to send a letter to the management, since they refuse to give an address. Would this be through the Better Business Bureau?

Feeling better about this.

This month, I had wfnnb automatically debit out of my account for my VS, Limited, and NY, but when I looked at my bank statement this morning, I noticed that WFNNB took it out twice! Please tell me what to do, and who to call??? Thanks!

Hi Nat

Send a letter to wfnnb and ask if there is any due in your account. Once you have got the details of your account, pay it and request them to confirm the payment received.

After you know that the account has been paid in full, send a letter requesting to close the account. It will take only a few minutes to close the account. They will send you in writing about the account being closed.

Regards
Roxette

Hi Elizabeth

Contact WGNNB at 1-800-695-5316 / 1-800-224-3114 and request to close the account.

If there is any due amount, pay it off and request to close the account completely. Ask for a confirmation mail once the account is closed. Keep a follow up regarding this matter.

Regards
Roxette

CHRISTYJ

You had a wrong search with the company you are looking for. This is a public forum where we share our experiences on debt related issues. This website does not have any consumer accounts.

You need to forward your request to the company having your account. They will update your file with the bureaus. Try searching for them in the BBB for the contact details.

I have a ZERO balance and just want this account closed. I no longer have the card, haven't used it in years and don't have a phone or address to contact WFNNB/Limited.

This company sent an activated card to my sister's address. Where I have never lived. When I found it, I accused her of identity theft. I finally talked to representative and they said they do that often. Yeah that's what he said! They often send activated cards in my name to the wrong addresses. I don't believe my sister will ever forgive me for the accusation. The account still remains on my credit report. This company is absurd and out of control!

I got an update of my credit report this morning. I was surprised to see that I had an open wfnnb account with Today's Man. Since that chain of stores closed a few years ago I thought it wise to close it. Using the info above I was able to close it in about 45 seconds- Thanks to this board!

I just need a phone number for this card to call and CNX. It's on my credit report with only an address. I don't have the card, because its a few years old. All I'd like to do is cancel the card, to get it off my report.

Thanks :)!

A WFNNB/MY WORLD MASTERCARD appears on my credit report. What is this company? I do not recall opening a Mastercard account in August. How can I find out about this account and close it?
