I am just curious on the system of this community and how it operates. How do we donate points to each other? How do we earn points? What are the points?... Maybe I should wait for my call first cuz i'm jumping the gun here...

Rippleffekt,

Welcome to forums. Those who register with this site receives free credit and debt counseling. The counselor analyzes debtor's financial standing and suggests the most suitable repayment plan. Counselors properly interact with creditors and get the repayment plan approved for you. You can visit this page to know the process in brief-

The pointing system is an added advantage for community members, like the bonus with your paycheck :D You are awarded certain DebtCC points for each of your posts in this forum and these DebtCC points continue to pile up. Once you have earned good amount of points, you can encash it.

If you wish, you can donate your earned points to some other forum members too. Similarly if other members donate some points to you, it will be added to your list. Check this thread for more info-

Hi Rippleffekt

After you submitted your post, did you see some points in the post screen window you earned for making the post. These have gone to your forum ID account. (Like when I was making this post, I saw you have two posts with 96 points in your account). These points can be redeemed later when you have reached your total value of $10. Keep posting here and request for redemption after some period of time. You will be glad putting it to good use.
