T&C vs. other credit counseling services

I am just curious.....I see T&C mentioned quite a bit on the forums, and it seems like the majority of folks are quite pleased with their services. I am currently signed up with a credit counseling service, but I am a bit unhappy about their response time to my questions. I do have my own individual credit counselor, but I am gathering that she is swamped with work, because everytime I e-mail her with a question I get pushed off because she has appointments back to back. I would like to hear from anyone who has had experiences with T&C, including how their program works vs how other credit counselors operate. I have mostly credit card/collection agency and personal loan debt, plus a few payday loans thrown in for good measure! Another question...with some of the credit card accounts that I have, I was pressured into making payment arrangements that I can't possibly keep, and have sent the companies in question letters stating that I cancel the payment arrangements effective immediately, plus I include my credit counselor's information so that they are aware they will be paid one way or the other. I also state that they should cease communication with me immediately...is this ok to ask, I don't want to antagonize them, but I am just plain weary of dealing with them! In the cases of collection agencies, they don't seem like they want to hear I am working with a credit counselor, and give me a spiel on how the proposed payment will only cover part of the interest, and the total balance will take forever to go down. What have your experiences been? Sorry to be so long-winded, just have a lot on my plate, as you all do! Thank you for listening  ! Blessings, Melissa

Mellisa, those people who have huge payday loans rely on T&C as they do the consolidation. payday loan consolidation is quite tough with most of the companies. Since you mostly have credit card debt and bills that are in collection, you can get a variety of options in the consolidation companies. I will suggest you to take a free counseling from this company's partners. You will be called by a consolidation company based in your area for a free discussion. You can discuss the matter with them and make sound financial decisions.
I can understand the situation when you are not able to keep up with the payment arrangements with your creditors. Do not stop paying them because they might not appreciate this move. If they wish to extend some benefits to you in your payments, it will be taken off. At the same time, when you request them to stop communication with you, they will assume that you are trying to ignore the debt. This won't be a good move and they will take decisions against you. Call your consolidation company and make lower payments through the program. It will take some time to get rid of the debts but you will be achieving the target surely. Re-register in this website for a free counseling. I hope this will be a move that will be helpful to you in the long run.
