Has anyone heard about the way they conduct business? Are they legit?

More information about Ameriloan - Jason

they are very flexible and customer service was helpful. But if you can do without a payday loan then please do so, they can be quite expensive, use a payday loan as a last resort. But if this is your last resort then I would recommend them, be sure to pay it back asap to aviod excess fees.

Bryan,

Thank you very much for the quick response. The info really helped. I am going to call them tonight and see just how nice their reps are. Lets hope I do not come back with a nasty reply about Ameriloan tomorrow!

Guest,

Thanks for the heads up. I hope I end up speaking with a nice rep. Oh I wish I had never taken out these loans. The biggest mistake I could have ever made. I guess that is why I have bad credit, I keep making the same silly mistakes which lead me to borrowing from payday loan places!!!

Hi Elisia

If at times, you really need urgent cash, try to borrow it from friends or relatives rather than from payday loan companies. Looking at the interest fees that are often charged illegally, you end up paying more than what is owed. Besides, the payday loans complete damage the financial system of an individual.

Anyway, I need to set up a payment plan because I am in way over my head my bank account is overdrawn, I did stop my direct deposit however! Bank is still accepting debits from Cash Today, Ameriloan, and United Cash Loans. Boy o boy I wish I found this site before I took the loans out to begin with!!!

Oh I wish I never took out a payday loan to begin with. Ameriloan is one of the places I am dealing with. I just do not want to run in the same trouble I did with Cash Today Ltd. Just really wanted to make sure they were not going to call and curse at me at my job is all!

I have delt with Pay-Day Loans and find that this company is one that you will definatly pay up the wazzzo in intrest rates. I have tried to pay off the loan but of course they would much rather collect the ninty dollar intrest and renew the loan conviently. You don't even have to ask. It is impossible to payoff the loan and I know that is what they want.
DO

I did not finnish my comments.
I only want to say to you....try to make an arrangement to pay off the Loan asap. I got my loan in July and I borrowed $300. I have payed $90 a month since then. I have payed $360 in just FEES. I have contacted them and they still have not stopped collection of fees, only.
It is easy to borrow and difficult to pay off.
Try another lender. There are some more practical and fair payday lenders out there.

Istarr,

Payday loans are short term loans and should be paid off on the next pay day, that's it. One renewal can make the situation worst.

You should go for payday loans if you are quite sure that you can manage the installment with your next pay check. Otherwise, try to find some alternatives of payday loans. A realistic budget often can solve money problems to a great extent.

Yes, but if they don't send you an account summary in the mail or e-mail, it's hard to contact them in the three days before the loan is due.

they expect you to forget about the loan and then charge you for it.

I've spent almost $2,000 on three $300.00 payday loans I took out in February and in May. One of them I owe $65.00 on, even though I've paid them almost $900.00 besides the fact, and the other two I still owe $260.00 each, even though I've paid them $600 dollars and $400.00, respectively.

STAY AWAY FROM PAYDAY LENDERS. BEWARE.

As we all know we made a commitment to pay our loans off. But what it seems like is most of us did not realize how hard it would be!!! My recomendation to all is to close your bank account. Open a new one then call the places you have payday loans with and arrange a payment agreement via money order only!!! I think in the end you will eventually settle with an amount and not pay as much interest on your principle balance! Only a suggestion!!!!

Closing the checking account is preferable only for those companies that make unauthorized debits. Otherwise, there is no need to do it or else it will add up with the NSF fees.

It is better to inform the lender about the situation before the checking account is closed. In that way, you might save some extra money. Hopefully, the lender can arrange a payment plan. But if not, there is always this option.

I agree with Roxette but when you need these people to stop and they say no you have no choice but to close your account. For my situation my account got frozen due to NSF because I did not handle my finances well after taking out the payday loans. It is an easy solution to get out of debt quick and pay back on your terms!!!

Hence it's name, pay-day loan. You are suppose to pay the loan off on your next pay day. They are giving you money in time of need between paychecks and "punish you" when you don't pay them off the day you get paid. Only take a payday loan out if you are absolutely sure you can pay them off on your next pay day. If you can not, that's when they rip you off with their 1000%+ interest rates. It's bad enough you have to give them $30+ per $100 bucks they give you. (for $300 you have to pay back $390) But to "re-new" the loan as they say you keep paying the interest and yes you pay much more to them then you borrowed...that's business. So please consider this before choosing a pay-day loan. Otherwise, Ameriloan and PayDay OK are have personel that do help you in the process of getting a quick, convenient loan for fast cash within 24 hours. MAKE SURE you fax in your agreement to pay off the loan 3 days before the due date or they will not take out the funds and just automatically take only the interest.
-Good luck All

Payday Loans can sometime coome in handy, but you must always remember with each loan comes a agreement, but for me its like a marriage for better and please not worse. They can call at anytime if you break a vow and if your forget to pay on time their goes the peace in the marriage. So for the best of it all remember to pay on time and if you feel you might be having problems paying call them before they have to call you

they emailed me loan papers and no money deposited into my bank account. Are they a fraud. If so I will definitely report them to the FBI. They have my personal information and no way to contact them.

iboyd,

Try registering with this site and a counselor will contact you to discuss your situation and options. Are your three payday loans with online lenders or storefront lenders? Have you tired communicating with the lenders to see if they will accept some sort of payment arrangement?

I've had a family member go through hell borrowing from these cash loan lenders; howerver, I did have to use one "cashloancity.com" not too long ago and they were very easy to deal with. At least there wasn't any hidden costs with them compared to some.

Thanks,
Ray

I am so sorry Pamela, we are not a loan company. we are a forum dedicated to helping people get out of debt. If you are talking about a pay day loan, please do not get it, They cause so many problems. Please
read thru the pay day loan threads, and you will see the danger you are getting into.

The first time yrs ago when I took out loans I screwed up bigtime. They don't tell you at most places that in order to pay in full you must contact them 3 business days in advance. Paying in full is the only way I would deal with these people I borrow $300 pay off my $350in 2 weeks and be done with it and if you need more money for that 2 weeks borrow again. Trust me it beats having to keep paying $60 every 2 weeks on the same $300. Pay it in full is your best bet and don't forget to read the fine print because you usually have to notify them in advance that you want to pay in full.
