Just recieved a letter from an arrow financial services.
Ran into problems with this company in the past. Filed a BBB complaint back then, with no reply by company. Still proceeded to file a fraudulent legal claim. Cost me just under $1500 in stolen wages!
Of which I wish to reclaim by filing legal actions, if possible and worth the effort!

Seem to recall reading info on this company on the forums somewhere, but don't know where. Is the a way to search forum(s) for more information about said company?
Planning on sending a DV letter shortly.
And because a drunk driver took out the electrical transformer to the place I was working, I'm out of work for unknown length of time.

New job orientation Thursday, so hopefully finacial situation will improve slightly.
Anyway........Appreciate any information that can be provided.
Thanks,

If you look down at the bottom of the right menu bar, there is a link called "search Forums"
I'm confused, you say that a fraudulent legal claim was filed and with that they were able to garnish your wages?
It isn't Arrowhead is it?

No, not Arrowhead.
Information from letter indicates:

arrow financial services
5996 W Touhy Ave
Niles, IL 60714

They filed claim, but never notified me of their intent.
One letter sent, by me, went ignored. Complaint with BBB also went ignored.

Had I known then, what I've learned to date, I could have fought back. Guess I'll have to go after them this time, and raise hell along the way! In letter(s) sent politely and CM-RRR requesting information.

As for the Forum search - Missed that link completely!
Thanks again,

This is a bottom feeder company and we all need to get together on this company and file a lawsuit for they have violated many consumers rights

You must place your complaints against arrow financial services at the attorney general office in your state as well as in the FTC and the BBB. The company is doing many sorts of illegal activities and their actions need to be reported. We all will be able to see the results of the required actions after the government bodies receive large number of complaints against them. So, we surely need to report against them.

Even the judge we talked to said the amount they were asking was rediculous. How can they expect to do that to people. Times are hard enough without being charged triple the amount for one account.

Hi,

There are customers who feel that Arrow financial had penalized their hope by screwing up their happiness.According to them although they had made the payments on time, their credit reports are in a mess and thy are marked with a negative balance on their credit report for being reported delinquent in which they are not. So I would advice you to gather some knowledge before dealing with any financial matter with them.

Huh? If you are paying a collection account, you dont get "credit" on your credit report for paying on time. You are deliquent....period. Once in collections, it stays negative.

I had been receiving calls and mail from a collection agency and have an item on my credit report that is identified only as Arrow Financial Services. For over a year now I have been trying to get them to validate their claim and more importantly identify who the original creditor is as I have no idea what this debt they claim I owe is for. When I realized what scum I was dealing with I told them I would only communicate with them via 1st class mail so as to document all my dealings with these people. All letters sent to the lawyer I also cc'd Arrow's office in IL and all correspondence was sent registered mail. I received the return receipts from the law office only... never got the Arrow letters receipts and yet the letters were never returned either... The lawyer set some real bully type letters which I responded to with the same form letter requesting the docs to validate their claim. Then they filed a civil suit and I welcomed the opportunity! I provided all my letters and copies of the return receipts to the court. I appeared in court on my set date and time ready to do battle and Arrow's representative never showed. I told the judge I was actually disappointed because I wanted to talk to someone face to face about this... He sympathized with me and explained this is probably a junk debt that is bought and sold and they more than likely did not have the paperwork I was requesting to validate their claim and dismissed the case. Problem is the item is still listed on my credit report and doing battle with them to get it removed. For some reason the credit bureaus are checking with Arrow and they keep confirming their claim as valid even though I sent a copy of the notice from the court that the case was dismissed! UGH!!!!!!!!

Send them a DV letter, cm/rrr.

Wait until you get the card back, showing delivery of your letter.

Immediately dispute the tradeline with the CRA.

Arrow is required to validate to you before they can confirm the tradeline to the CRA. And they only have 30 days to do that, per FCRA.
