One more BK question

I believe you can include any amounts that are in arrears, but you cannot include future payments. You will have to continue making the monthly payments after you file.

I haven't filed a 13, so I don't know this for sure. But I believe that you would have to make up the arrears that Goudah mentioned during your 5 year chapter 13 payments, along with paying the current amounts.

I am not sure how they did it, but my brother had filed bankruptcy, but I believe it was chp7. Anyway, somehow they were able to keep the house and not loose it. Somehow they got the mtg company to modify their loan, but there were stiff stipulations for them since they were filing bankruptcy. Talk with your mtg company or attorney and see what they have to say. Attorney first though....

You are actually REQUIRED to include ALL debts in your Chapter 13, even if you don't want to.
